Bio

As a full-stack developer, Guan enjoys solving complex computing and programming problems using state of the art programming skills to provide robust, efficient, and scalable solutions. He is particularly interested in Linux, location based intelligence, algorithm, machine learning and big data platform.

Prior to joining the Cancer Center Informatics team, Guan worked as a developer and system administrator for governmental and nonprofit sectors for nearly a decade in the domain of data management, data visualization and GIS application development. Guan holds a master degree in Geographical Information Science from Eastern Michigan University and a master degree in Chemical Engineering from Tianjin University in China.
